Record field progress
Step 1 — Create the day's log: Go to Field → New log. Select the date, fill in weather, workforce, and activity description. Save.
Step 2 — Record line item progress: In the log → Progress section → Add progress → select the estimate line item → enter quantity executed today (in the line item's unit). The system accumulates total progress.
Step 3 — Attach photo evidence: In the log → Documents → Upload document → select photos or files.
Step 4 — Log issues (if any): Click New issue to document problems, accidents, or relevant situations with severity and actions taken.
How progress feeds Cost Control
Field progress drives EVM:
- Earned Value (EV) = Σ (% progress × line item budget)
- SPI and CPI update with each progress entry

Best practices
- Record progress at the end of each work day, not days later.
- Be precise with quantities — overestimated progress distorts EVM.
- Attach photos as backup for what was reported.
- Document delays and their cause in log observations.
