Templates module

Templates allow you to configure factors and rates applied consistently across all company projects: taxes, labor burdens (FSR), and equipment costs.

Template types​

1. Tax templates​

Define applicable taxes for projects (e.g. VAT, sales tax).

2. Labor burden templates (FSR)​

The Salary Factor (FSR) or labor burden defines the total real cost of a worker including benefits, social security, vacation, etc.

Example: A worker with a $200/day base salary and FSR of 1.85 has a real cost of $370/day.

3. Equipment cost templates​

Define how machinery hourly/daily cost is calculated, including depreciation, fuel, maintenance, and operator cost.

Create a template​

  1. Go to Templates from the sidebar.
  2. Select the template type.
  3. Click New template.
  4. Fill in the fields and save.

Apply templates to projects​

Templates are associated with the project's region pack. When creating a project with a region pack, that pack's templates apply automatically.

warning

Modifying an existing template may affect recalculation of all estimates that use it. Consider creating a new template version if the change is significant.
