AI Assistants module

BuildQuant's AI Assistants use advanced language models (LLM) to help you understand, analyze, and optimize your construction estimates.

What can the assistants do?​

  • Explain an estimate — analyzes line items and explains in natural language what each cost includes and how it was calculated.
  • Optimize costs — suggests line items that may be overestimated, alternative resources, or cost-reduction strategies without compromising scope.
  • Answer questions — ask anything in natural language about your project or estimate.

Example prompts​

"Which line items represent more than 20% of the total estimate cost?"
"Can you explain how the labor cost was calculated for the foundation section?"
"What costs could be optimized in this estimate without affecting scope?"

  • Assistants do not modify the estimate directly — they only suggest.
  • Responses are based on data in the system at the time of the query.
  • Use professional judgment to evaluate all recommendations.
