Catalog module

The Catalog is your company's master library of reusable resources. Prices and specifications defined here are automatically used when adding lines to UPAs.

Resource types​

TypeDescription

Add a resource​

  1. Select the resource type tab (e.g. Materials).
  2. Click New.
  3. Fill in:
    • Name, code, unit, and unit price.
  4. Click Save.

Import catalog from Excel​

Import multiple resources at once:

  1. Click Import in the Topbar.
  2. Select your .xlsx file in BuildQuant format.
  3. The system processes the import and notifies of the result.

Best practices​

  • Keep the catalog updated with current market prices.
  • Use consistent codes (e.g. MAT-001, LBR-010, EQP-005).
  • Review the catalog before starting a new project to verify prices are correct.
