Field module

The Field module records daily site activity: work logs, issues, documents and photos, and line item progress.

Daily logs​

A daily log records what happened on site during a specific day.

Create a log​

Fill in: date, weather conditions, workforce count, description of activities, and observations.

Documents and images​

Attach evidence photos or documents to a daily log:

  1. Open an existing log.
  2. Click Upload document.
  3. Select the file — supported: JPG, PNG, PDF, Office files (max 50 MB).

Issues​

Record problems, accidents, or relevant situations that occurred on site. Issues are linked to the day's log with severity and actions taken.

Line item progress​

Record physical progress of estimate line items from the field:

  1. In the log, go to Progress.
  2. Select the estimate line item.
  3. Enter the quantity executed today.
  4. The system accumulates total progress per line item.

Progress recorded in Field feeds the Cost Control module for Earned Value (EVM) calculations.
